EVEN MORE INSTRUMENTS AND BOWS! We recently acquired a large estate of old and antique violins and bows. This is a great addition to our large selection of new and vintage instruments. We also personally selected a number of exceptional new instruments and bows to add to our inventory. In response to our customers' requests, these new instruments include the expansion of our cello and viola selections. Our bow inventory now includes a wider range in the beginning to intermediate price category. Also new are Kaplan Solutions strings, Kaplan rosin, and many new titles to our printed music department. We've had requests for high quality wooden music stands and we found a small workshop here in California that exceeded our expectations. The design and craftmanship is nothing short of exquisite. These stands are crafted of solid hardwoods (mahogany, walnut, or cherry) and are set off with solid brass hardware. The next time you visit us, see them for yourself.

Our totebag and backpack department has expanded and now includes luggage with musical symbols. New are duffle bags, large travel bags, hanging cosmetic bags, and shopping totes with wheels. Show off your love of music whether on vacation or heading off to school. We have some other great new products in the Gift Boutique: jewelry (pins, earrings, necklaces, bracelets), key chains, magnets, decorative items (miniature instruments, etched crystals with lighted bases), as well as brand new cards,and framed prints by one of our best-selling artists, new shirt and cap designs (including pink bass clef caps for our women who rock!). While we're on that subject, we now have many items with the bass clef. But since we always listen to your requests we realize that our viola players (or alto clef musicians in general) have always been ignored when it comes to musical gift items. After some conversations with our suppliers we are pleased to now provide shirt and tote bag designs with the alto clef. Always popular are our boxed greeting cards, so we've added some new designs as well as restocking the most requested cards that always seem to sell out.
Our customers have shown a lot of interest in the dog from our logo. His name is "Classie" and he was created by a very talented local artist, Mirto Golino. Mirto worked with photographs of our own dog, Maggie, and the rest was her own imagination. Stop by the shop to see the original larger-than-life-sized painting. We also have "Classie" t-shirts in all sizes from Youth small to Adult XXL.

Additional Information Our hours are: Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. We are always closed on Sunday and Monday. We have convenient on-street parking with no meters.
